About Our Church

Under the leadership of our Minister and Kirk Session, Markinch Parish Church provides positive spiritual direction to a diverse and enthusiastic congregation.

We are an energetic Church of Scotland parish church at the centre of old Markinch.
Founded in the 6th Century - today a lively worshipping community. Townspeople and visitors attend services and take part in a wide range of activities including, :

Study courses. Christian Aid Events, Guild Meetings, Children’s work, fun days, and fund raising and social events.

The Sunday service is at 11:00am, with Holy Communion being celebrated quarterly.

During the morning service there is a Crèche and Children’s Church for those up to the age of 14 years. Everyone joins in the initial worship at 11:00am and then the children and young people leave for their various groups.
